People usually login and vote for whatever MMO they play. Since WoW has more players than any other, it will win. These voting things have almost nothing to do with actual game quality since the voters don't really have experience with the things being voted on.

Im betting that EvE is just gonna blow the SiFi section up....

the trinity update is just absurd.

all the other games are really kinda "meh" imo... In its class GW is still King though.

this is true, but its the reviews/comments that count really.

I would think it would win Best Free/ Micropayment game fairly easily but you never know. I don't really see anyone that could challenge them for that. As for the best paid expansion, I see Burning Crusade getting that. I have a friend that plays WoW and he said the lines at GameStop were even longer then the line for Halo 3... I really think they only have a chance at Fantasy and Free awards.

I'm no WoW fan, but even I have to admit that Burning Crusade is going to win best expansion...

It broke all sorts of records, and is the only expansion for the most popular MMORPG around.

Agreed. That's why Halo 3 wins so many "fan choice" awards but games that are actaully good/revolutionary like Bioshock and Mass Effect win when reviewers vote on them.

WOW is going to win everything, they have too many voters and subscibers and you ain't never gonna beat that Warcraft crowd in any vote except the micropayment game of 2007. And that doesn't say anything, but, that the game is free to play. No big deal there there's lots of others free to play.

These awards are a joke. GW will NOT be selected again for the final vote just like the last 2 years. I would take GWEN over boreing cursade anyday.

I'll be honest, i had to vote for EvE online on the ones that both EvE and GW where choices from... EvE is a true sandbox MMO, Guild Wars isn't and doesn't deserve to be in that list
